The stray dog rescued from Uppalam, Puducherry, with maggots made wound on neck and head- before and after treatment at Bark India veterinary hospital located at Pattanur, Villupuram district, Tamil Nadu.
After free treatment, vaccination and sterilisation, the dog is happily back to his own territory.
Bark India believes in release of strays after treatment, as dogs are territorial animals who can be comfortable in their own places where they use to live in from their very childhood or past. Relocation of dogs is illegal in India by Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and the supreme court order prohibits relocation. Dogs are comfortable in their territorial freedom.
Thank you Ms Ambiga for bringing the dog to Bark India for treatment.
